Ghouls and Goblins! It’s time to unleash your artistic spirit and create a monster!
Your task is to decorate a pumpkin for Halloween between 23rd and 30th October, in whatever gruesome fashion you see fit. Painted, carved, dressed up, create a scene with your pumpkin at the centre? Scary? Cute? Unusual? The choice is yours, just make sure you read the rules below before entering.
Three wicked winners will be announced on All Hallow’s Evening - 31st October, having been cruelly judged by the most rotten rogues in the town… the residents of Elloughton-cum-Brough (Gasp!) If your hideous creation is deemed fit for winning, you shall receive a prize of an Amazon voucher to the value of £25. Now go forth little critters… and work your magic!
Entry Rules:
Entrants must enter two photographs. One image to include the creator (this is to verify your entry and will not be shared anywhere).
Entrants are welcome to feature in the photograph in their Halloween Dress-Up, please advise if you permit these images to be shared on social media.
Painting, carving, props and scene-setting around your pumpkin are all permitted.
Photograph entries need to be received by Midday 30th October with judging commencing at 9am on 31st October 2023. Judging will close at 5pm, with three winners announced on Halloween night.
You must be an Elloughton-cum-Brough resident.
If you would like your display to be visited by trick-or-treaters during the competition, please also include your street name.
