What is the Committees role?
The Committee provides effective and professional oversight of personnel arrangements at the Town Council.
Its oversees compliance with the relevant legislation, best practice relating to personnel issues, recruitment, training, as well as, setting out strategy and policy in all personnel matters. The Committee also recommends a ‘staffing’ budget once a year to the Finance & Strategic Planning Committee.
The Committee usually meets four times a year during working hours at the Town Council Offices, 44, Elloughton Road, Brough.
