Exciting news!
We have just been notified that Brough Police Station will now be manned by PCO’s as from the 6 July 2021.
Traffic surveys are planned by East Riding of Yorkshire Council for the week commencing 5th July 2021 at:
Stocksbridge Road Elloughton
These surveys are part of a batch of 50 undertaken as part of the East Riding of Yorkshire Speed Management Programme.
Blackburn Leisure Bowling Club
Chairman, Cllr Anne Bentley and Vice-Charman Cllr Marinos Loizides had the pleasure of meeting Mike Perkins. Elloughton cum Brough Town Council recently issued a grant to enable Blackburn Leisure Bowling Club to purchase a Lawn Sprayer.
We are very happy to be able to support a local club.
Everyone at Elloughton Cum Brough Town Council would like to send their condolences to the family and friends of Keith Smith. Keith sadly passed away last week. He was a much respected past Chairman and Parish Councillor of the Elloughton Cum Brough Town Council and worked as an English Teacher at South Hunsley.
Saltgrounds Road Brough
The works necessitating the closure of Saltgrounds Road Brough are detailed in the document linked below these were unavoidably delayed and will now take place 1st May to 11th May 2021.
The diversion remains the same as per the map.
Everyone at Elloughton Cum Brough Town Council would like to send their condolences to the family and friends of Rita Hudson. Rita sadly passed away on Monday, she was a much respected past Chairman of the Elloughton Cum Brough Town Council and Conservative Councillor.
Great British Spring Clean - 28 May to 13 June 2021
Elloughton Cum Brough Town Council are pleased to be taking part in this years Great British Spring Clean.
Our Councillors and office staff are pledging their time to keep Elloughton and Brough tidy.
Would you like to join us in this pledge? How many hours and minutes of litter picking can you pledge to join us in helping to keep our community tidy? We are looking for groups of 2 people or a family to dedicate their time to get involved in keeping our outdoor areas clean.
